SABIAN SYMBOLS*

SUMMER LUNAR EVENTS:

7/31 - NEW MOON @ 8 LEO:

A COMMUNIST ACTIVIST SPREADING HIS REVOLUTIONARY IDEALS.

--> The emotional and ideological attempt to return to a state of non-differentiation and chaos as a prelude to a new type of order.

Illustrating the creative force of chaos, this degree reminds us of the pure power behind catabolic processes . Sometimes, in order to grow beyond the norm, one must subject themselves to the threat of the unknown.

8/15 - FULL MOON @ 22 AQUARIUS:

A RUG IS PLACED ON THE FLOOR OF A NURSERY TO ALLOW CHILDREN TO PLAY IN COMFORT AND WARMTH.

--> The warmth of understanding which comes to those who, early in life, are open to new possibilities.

This degree reminds us to keep an open mind, expeically during tough and trying times on our minds. Keeping pece of mind also requires keeping an open mind. Closed, we stop growing.

8/30 - NEW MOON @ 6 VIRGO:

A MERRY-GO-ROUND.

--> The first experience of the dynamic intensity of life processes and of the possibility of using them to reach a characteristic ego-satisfaction.

9/13 - FULL MOON @ 21 PISCES:

UNDER THE WATCHFUL AND KIND EYE OF A CHINESE SERVANT, A GIRL FONDLES A LITTLE WHITE LAMB.

--> Growth in consciousness in its earliest tactile awareness of the wonders of unsophisticated living.

Cherishing the nubile after surviving the fires of time. This degree touches upon our ancient knowledge and the access to and appreciation for it, especially when viewed in retrospect. It is always easier to appreciate something once it has been experienced and not just a theory of the mind. Experiential education always wins out over theoretical.
